After-School Program: Basketball & Double Dutch

Our After-School Program focuses on keeping youth engaged and active during the school year with basketball and Double Dutch. These activities provide a fun and competitive environment where participants can improve their physical fitness, enhance coordination, and develop essential teamwork skills. Basketball helps youth build confidence, practice discipline, and gain leadership experience. Meanwhile, Double Dutch encourages rhythm, agility, and collaboration in a dynamic and supportive setting. Our after-school program is perfect for youth looking to stay active, make friends, and develop positive life habits.

Summer Program: Basketball, Tennis & Double Dutch

The Summer Program at the Long Island Panthers Foundation offers an exciting variety of sports, including basketball, tennis, and Double Dutch. During the summer months, we provide structured activities that promote both physical health and personal growth. Basketball fosters teamwork, strategic thinking, and fitness, while tennis helps build focus, coordination, and perseverance. Double Dutch continues to offer a unique and energetic way for youth to stay active while fostering teamwork and community spirit. Our summer program gives children and teenagers the perfect opportunity to try new sports, hone their skills, and make lasting memories.

Focus and Future Initiative: Building a Brighter Tomorrow

The Focus and Future Initiative is our flagship program dedicated to preparing young individuals for a successful future, both in and out of sports. Through mentorship, financial literacy workshops, and personal development coaching, we aim to empower youth with the tools they need to succeed in life. Participants engage in a series of workshops and hands-on experiences, covering essential topics such as goal setting, career planning, and effective communication. By integrating life skills with athletic development, we ensure that every participant not only excels in sports but also gains the knowledge and confidence to succeed in their personal and professional lives.

Community Service: Giving Back Through Basketball

At the Long Island Panthers Foundation, community service is an essential part of our mission. We believe in giving back to the community that supports us, and our basketball players take an active role in doing just that. Recently, the Panthers made headlines for their involvement in local service projects across Malverne and West Hempstead, giving youth the chance to build a deeper connection with their community. These projects instill a sense of responsibility and pride in our players, teaching them that success extends beyond the court—it’s about making a positive impact in the world around them.
